RSVP for the ARLIS/NA Twin Cities Fall Meeting and Making Event on Thursday, November 3rd!
Please join us for our Fall ARLIS/NA-TC Meeting on Thursday, November 3 from 1:00-5:00 pm at the Textile Center in Minneapolis, MN!
We are excited to announce that based on member requests for more interactive and creative opportunities, we are pairing the Fall Business Meeting with a sashiko making event. The schedule is:
- 1:00 – Sashiko class with teaching artist Chiaki O’Brien (no textile experience required!)
- In-person at the Textile Center, 3000 University Ave SE Minneapolis MN 55414, parking and transit info
- Free attendance for Chapter Members and Friends, guests are asked to pay a sliding scale of $5-$15 by cash, check, or PayPal on day of event
- 3:00 – Business Meeting, agenda to follow (In-person at the Textile Center)
- 4:00 – Adjourn to happy hour at The Market at Malcolm Yards (about a 5-minute walk north of the Textile Center)
Please RSVP by Friday, October 28 for the sashiko class; by Wednesday, November 2nd for the Business Meeting and Happy Hour. Note that space is limited to 20 participants for the Sashiko class – chapter Members, Friends, and non-members are all welcome to attend but in the case we exceed 20 attendees, priority will be given to chapter Members and Friends.
